River Oaks welcomes golfers of all levels, with challenging bunkers and water hazards. Golfers will especially enjoy the island green at the end of the par 5 9th. The middle section of the course is enhanced by the mature oak trees lining both sides of the fairways.
A long dogleg right the first hole is a great start for those with some natural shape to their shot.
This 288-yard par 4 has a generous landing area below the tee box that makes for a great second shot. There are bunkers on the front left and right of the green.
The first par 5 of the course is straight away and over a hill. With water on the front left of the green reaching the green in regulation is the wise play here.
This is the shortest par 3 on the course and is easily reachable with a pitching wedge. Par is a good score as the green makes long putts tricky.
A straightaway par 4 with water on the left front of the green golfers can let out a little shaft; a good birdie chance on this hole.
With a dogleg right and no view of the green this hole needs a straight tee shot to the top of the hill and then an easy second shot into the green.
This straightforward par 3 has a large green for a target but prevailing breezes make this hole play longer than it is so club choice is crucial.
No tricks to this par 4 as it takes you to the tighter fairways of the middle section of the course.
The signature island green is a highlight of the course. A very narrow fairway and water surrounding the green makes par a very good score on this hole.
